Spring is just days away and the Canadian Federation of University Women’s (CFUW) Milton and District chapter is getting into the spirit of renewal with their annual used book sale.
This year is a milestone for the local organization, which for the 50th time it giving new life to books and other reading material.
Not only are organizers and attendees saving books, but customers can also rest assured that their money is being used for a good cause. Proceeds will go towards scholarships for local girls and women.
The sale will take place at Milton Mall (55 Ontario St.) on March 21 and 22. Doors will open at 10 a.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Those interested in donating their used books can do so at all three Milton Public Library branches.
