Time to flex those creative, expressive muscles.
Milton Public Library has a wide variety of opportunities to do just that, with its soon-to-be-launched Adult Advent Calendar, which begins with this Sunday’s (Dec. 1) Write & Recite Open Mic showcase from 1 to 4 p.m. at Sherwood Branch (6355 Main St.).
Adults and seniors are invited to hear from local authors and poets as they share their work.
From there, MPL has numerous events and challenges ahead – everything from cookie decorating and painting workshops to indoor gardening kits and starting a journal.
Area residents are also encouraged to get creative with gift-wrapping and share photos of their home holiday decorating on the library’s social media channels.
There’s something to suit all interests.
