New to Canada and not clear on the country’s financial system?
If so, help is close at hand.
In partnership with Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, Milton Public Library is set to host two information sessions to give adults an understanding of their paycheque and why a bank account is required.
The basics of taxes and how to build a credit history will also be discussed.
Run by seasoned CPA Gisella Theodore, the sessions will be held at Beaty Branch (945 Fourth Line) on Jan. 22 and Feb. 19 – both from 2 to 3 p.m.
