Halton police are investigating a break-in at a Milton home Friday evening.

The incident occurred around 6:44 p.m. on Jan. 31 after two suspects shattered the rear sliding door to gain entry to the residence near Main Street East and Livingston Road. No one was home at the time, and nothing was reported stolen.

The suspects are described as a man with a medium build, wearing a puffy winter jacket, toque, light-colored pants and boots — and a woman with a medium build, dressed in a long winter coat.

The investigation is ongoing.
