Hollywood is making a return to Milton.

Downtown Milton BIA executive director Monique Gaudet told MiltonToday Wednesday afternoon reshoots are tentatively scheduled along downtown Main Street overnight next Thursday (May 16) for the soon-to-be-released M. Night Shyamalan physiological thriller Trap.

"We're just waiting for final confirmation," she said.

Scenes were originally shot over four days, primarily at night, in mid-November.

Set at a concert and starring Josh Harnett and the award-winning director’s singer-songwriter daughter, Saleka Shyamalan, the film is expected to hit theatres Aug. 9. Here's a look at the trailer.

It’s Shyamalan’s first movie with Warner Bros. Pictures Group, and the 16th of his career.

Unconfirmed reports originally had the movie’s title being changed to Good Grades, but according to FilmUpdates.com that was simply a code name for filming.

Main Street will be closed to traffic between Martin and James streets between 6 p.m. May 16 and 6 a.m. May 17.

No other details are yet available, and it's not known if Shyamalan himself will be on hand for the reshoots.

Other scenes for Trap were filmed in nearby Hamilton and Mississauga.

This marks the third movie filming along Main Street in the last eight months, beginning with a week-long shoot in October for Hallmark’s Christmas with a Kiss.
